Discord servers are only shown in a tiny portion of your left side screen. Like any logo, you can’t dismiss the fact where you are putting in your logo.
This circular icon is what community member/s will see on their sidebar. Think of it as a profile image or avatar for your server. If you want your Discord server to stand out, you need a striking Discord server icon.
